   Here is this months creations for your layout.

NEW O SCALE CASTINGS

  If you guys have not figured it out yet I'm going back and redoing some of the castings to new and
  improved versions w/o the big base if I can. This way you can place them anywhere.

   Here is the newer revision of the first junk pile we ever made RRJP-O-01. Again we remove the
   base so you can place this casting anywhere. Check out the detail on the casting all the misc.

  We brought back the CAT 30 model for a while. This is a great static model that you can use in
  different scenes. I added a winch to the back of the cat. I had to have a way to be able to cast the
  tractor as a one piece casting. As you can see in the pictures below that a plug is on the bottom
  casting. When you paint the plug a dark color you don't see it as you can see in the pictures below.
  The casting will comes primer and a piece of metal tube is provided for the stack. Check out all the
  detail  throughout.  Measures  2" by 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" tall. You get a piece of metal pipe for the stack.

  Still working on a small mine so stay tune. This guy will have a small foot print.

 Have not done one of these in awhile a junk car out in a field with a hobo and his dog checking it out.
 Just think of where you could place this little bit of detail on your layout. All resin casting and comes  
 unpainted.

    Also I'm selling my FSM collection since since I'm committed to  ON30 scale. I only have the
    current jewel kits up on the site now and will add some of  the older ones later. So you can check
    those out at FMS for Sale   

      What's on the Workbench

   Will be taking a trip this summer to the back side of Bodie. Will have a lot of pictures to show.
  
   Working on new casting for the new company BATTLEJUNK to get it off the ground. But I have
    some O and HO scale mining scenes in the planning stage.
  
   Also still working on a HO version of the CAT 30.

    Here is a little tip when working with Rusty Rail castings. If a casting is warped or you want to
    change an items appearance use a hair dryer. Hold the item under the heat and in 30 seconds
    or depending on how hot your hair dryer is,  you can remove the item from the heat and start
    to shape that item. Do not put the resin in the oven.

    Another tip working with the castings. If you need to fill an air hole or something of that nature
    I just use spackle in a tube that you can get at your local hardware store. Fill the hole it dries
    quickly. Then light sand and ready for painting.
