    Hi Folks,

Here is this months creations for your layout.

Here are some of the new castings for the O scale group.

Also this month we will start offering some painted castings.

NEW O SCALE CASTINGS

Here us a new junk pile that will work outside by any building or since it has no base can go inside a
building or shop. Check out the detail below.

A new truck junker a 1930 Chevy flatbed truck with all sorts of goodies in the  flatbed and scattered
around. You could add this casting to other junk car castings we offer and make a great junk yard.
Check out the detail and try to figure a good spot for this one.

Here is new Junk Pile for the O scale group. This one will look great along side a shop building. It is
designed to be up against a wall. The junk pile has all kinds of old engines and other junk spread out
on the motors. Check out the detail and try to figure a good spot for this one.

Prior Months O Scale Offerings

We are offering a new ready built truck the model TT Ford. This guy is built and ready to place on
your layout. Each model will come painted and weathered and have a load in the back. Could fit in
with a lumber mill or mining site. So check out the pictures below.

On my last trip to the Tahoe are I found a mine in Nevada and was kicking around and found a
old junk pile with a 1941 Plymouth flatbed truck that someone yanked the rear end out and just
dumped the the body on the ground. I thought it was cool and could be at an old mine site or a
logging operation you decide. Has all the usual junk to laying around and old cat engine etc. So
check out the pictures and enjoy.

 NEW HO SCALE CASTINGS

Here is another Grapes of Wrath or  Hoover Ville item. This was a common sight during the
depression era. Here is a tent with the family car added to create extra sleeping area with the
tarp thrown over the car. Check out the kid and his dog. Sometimes the car is not even running
but it made to to California. These were the real migrant camps.

These tent cabins were common in logging or mining camps. Wood floors and side then a
canvas top. Check out the guy off to work for another day. Sometimes they were also build
on stilts with stairs in the front.

We created a new building that would be great for a field office for a mine or lumber mill.
Check out the detail on this one.

We took the old store kit we offered and changed it to a solid building. Much easier for me to mold
and for you to paint. The only thing you have to do is add the porch and you are ready to paint. I
also add a rock foundation and all kinds of goodies include a store clerk checking the supplies. I
will also throw in the posters you see.

PRIOR MONTHS HO OFFERINGS

Here is Slim's Boiler repair, this guy could fit anywhere on a logging camp, business in town. Check
out all the detail and people already at work. Or cut it up an make several scenes.  You can see that
4 people are molded onto this scene.

Last one is a scene of an old truck with the rear end removed and check all the junk laying around.

Also I'm selling my FSM collection since since I'm committed to  ON30 scale. I only have the
current jewel kits up on the site now and will add some of  the older ones later. So you can check
those out at FMS for Sale

    What's on the Workbench

Went on a short trip to Reno in Nevada and when ghost own hunting during the day. Here are some
shots of the trip and some wild horses we found. This was about a 100 miles into Nevada and a lot
    of nothing for miles.

Been working on my layout getting the mining town finished. Here are some shots more to come
    as it progresses.

Also still working on a HO version of the CAT 30.

Here is a little tip when working with Rusty Rail castings. If a casting is warped or you want to
change an items appearance use a hair dryer. Hold the item under the heat and in 30 seconds
or depending on how hot your hair dryer is,  you can remove the item from the heat and start
to shape that item. Do not put the resin in the oven.

Another tip working with the castings. If you need to fill an air hole or something of that nature
I just use spackle in a tube that you can get at your local hardware store. Fill the hole it dries
quickly. Then light sand and ready for painting.
